Go to Network and open Cellular settings...

Select Carrier & APN and turn Cellular data. Open APN

For internet settings create Custom Internet APN and enter below information.

Internet APN: airtelgprs.com
User name:
Password:
Authentication:
Protocol: IPv4

Click Activate


If the above Airtel Internet APN settings do not work on your Ubuntu device, make below changes to Airtel Internet APN settings to get AIRTEL LIVE on your Ubuntu device.

Go to Network and open Cellular settings...

Select Carrier & APN and turn Cellular data. Open APN


For MMS settings create Custom MMS APN and enter below information.

MMS APN: airtelmms.com
MMSC: http://100.1.201.171:10021/mmsc
Proxy: 100.1.201.172
Proxy Port: 8799
Username:
Password:
Authentication:
Protocol: IPv4

Click Activate

If the above Airtel MMS APN settings too do not work on your Ubuntu device, make below changes to Airtel MMS APN settings to get Airtel MMS on your Ubuntu device.

On Ubuntu, APN settings should be entered in correct case. For example, if you are configuring your APN setting with Airtel Internet APN settings configuration above, make sure you enter APN as airtelgprs.com and not as AIRTELGPRS.COM or Airtelgprs.com. If entering Airtel MMS to your Ubuntu device, APN should be entered as airtelmms.com and not as AIRTELMMS.COM or Airtelmms.com.
